Uoc part 3

The darkness seeping in...
The tiny stars peeping through the sky...
The moon that grows brighter...

How is the cool, fresh night air???

Come on guys, relax and let's begin our stroll...

Back through the same road except for the darkness and the eeriness. Apart from these strange weird feelings, the night here holds on to something peaceful, beautiful, and mysterious.
Don't expect the university nights to be silent. We'll go back to the same trap and you will see students still there, chatting and laughing and merrymaking. This is one thing about this place, be it 1, 2, or 3in the morning, you can see people wide awake here.

The trap...The circle...

Can you hear the leaves whispering... Look at that forlorn Banyan tree standing all alone amidst the noises. Every single leaf on that tree is chuckling at all the silly things happening around. Just look at them and you would forget the voices in your head, only one thing left ... serenity...
The night air brings in all the fruity and flowery smells. Every month one or the other flower blooms filling the night air with its fragrance. Each person, each memory here comes along with each of these smells. Just fill in yourself with the freshness and come along... let's walk through the cold tar.       Sometimes it's nice to walk in silence with the night air in your hair, musing with the melodies of nature. I don't know where to take you to. Just got reminded of the first night we were taken for a stroll around by our dearest seniors. The way they described and warned us about all the dark and scary places...

Come on, I'll take you to the open-air theatre.

For me, this place is the scariest place when u are alone. It's like a huge place abandoned for some reason and is ready to engulf the ones going there. All of the aforesaid things are true only if I have to be there alone, otherwise, it is a splendid place for a group to hang out and for the couples a beautiful place to be by themselves. The memories attached to the open-air theatre is that of festivities. The "n" number of programs held here and the midnight fun we had here along with the stage memories...

    Leaving them behind...
Off to the favourite among the favourites "The Stadium" with that huge ground, and a number of steps.

Walking around without even realizing you have been crossing the ground for the umpteenth time. The countless nights we spend here... The songs we sang... The secrets we shared...The bonds we made... The Planes that we looked at with hope... happiest revelations... victories... breaking the rules... climbing the fence... all those running races... and...   "The Moon". Maybe this is a bit funny but that was the prime reason for which we have been here. Just look at the sky, look at the way the moon, beams at you.
You have to be here in the evening to see the moon coming out...you can see how the sky changes its colours..from yellow to orange, to red, to indigo and finally to black, the perfect background for the moon to shine bright.
Take in all that you find amusing here. The memories from way back...

There are more places here that look wonderful at night just like every other place.
Sitting home during this pandemic, inside the room, and looking at the shining moon, brings back all the bright nights we had at the University. There are more places I need to take you to. But now let's take a deep breath and settle down in memories...

until I see you.. soon.
