Wondering what I'm doing here? 

Just trying to say about some people, some night birds (of course not the ones who are engaged in a chat with their dear ones, and of course not the film lovers or the video game lovers). Now I hope you got the category of people I'm trying to speak about. The ones who grab a book before going to sleep and forget that they were planning to sleep, as they get deeply engrossed in the magic of words. 

    Have you seen people reading books, to get sleep? Some people can doze off just by reading. Yeah and there are some others who loses their sleep just because of a book. There are people who go on and on and on reading until they reach the back cover, and that's when they realize that its been a long while. These people read a work by travelling along with the narrator, being part of every single event that takes place in the book. Sometimes they laugh, sometimes they cry, sometimes they feel disturbed or angry or frustrated... a whole lot of emotions brimming inside. It's because they are living inside the book, not just reading it but living inside the book along with the other characters. Don't think that all book lovers finish the one book they are reading and take a moment for reflecting upon what they read. There are people who finishes a book and easily goes on flipping the pages of some other book. This is done for one main reason- to change the mood. Some books can make us sad, tensed, curious, exhausted and what not? That's when you jump into some light books, which would take you to a relaxing mood.

    I was talking about the people who love reading books. Do you know what they do when they get one? They hold the book in their hands, smell the pages, flip the pages and breathe the air. It's like feeling the life that resides in it. Books for certain people are good companions, that stays with them "always." There are certain 'favourite books' for every book lover. This one book can comfort them and make them warm and feel loved, whatever they are going through. This one book often would be the one they never even allow anyone else to touch, the ones which stay deeply entwined with their soul.

    A book lover in a bookshop or a library is a scene to behold. They will be so excited with all the books around them (including the ones they have already read and the ones they yearn to read). It's hard to bring them out of a library or a bookshop. They feel too enticed with the books and the authors that they get confused and quite often fail to make a choice. They either come out with as much books as they can carry or with nothing (too confused to choose). Simply walking beside the rows of books can take them to a state of bliss. This is more than enough for them to feel energized.

    Introvert and extrovert book lovers are different in their own ways. For most of the introverts, books are a way of avoiding people. It's an unwritten law that you shouldn't disturb a person with a book. So an easy way to get rid of people-Books!!! This doesn't mean every introvert person does this, this is just an observation and it can vary among people. There are introverts who find books really comforting and lovable. A book is the best partner they have in their own space of happiness. A book, a strong cup of coffee, and a calm atmosphere... Sounds wonderful, right? 

You might be wondering how an extrovert gets the patience to read. An extrovert finds the people they need in the books. The characters in the works easily gets acquainted with them. So simple as that. After all, they need to be engaged in something, to keep them high.

So that's it. Some random thoughts about a book lover. This is incomplete, I know. There are a lot more to tell about them and the statements I made here may vary from person to person. But still...
