Hai guys... How was all the fresh, happy, air ?? the noise around ?? the all-time energetic CU people???  That smile says it all. Then come on let's move around... I know you have been observing everything around and might have guessed what the building on the left is. Yeah, that's the "canteen." You may not find the so-called 'delicious food' there. But thinking of the pocket money left and the short distance to walk from the department, this is one of our usual places. One table and 12, 13, 14 chairs around... even the whole department used to assemble here with little or something to eat but plenty to talk. Don't mistake it as a department hangout. All the students and staff, and even the KSRTC drivers and conductors (yeah we do have KSRTC services to and from the university mornings and evenings)  hangout here. Evenings with a glass of hot tea is wonderful. Just the tea time is more than enough for the students' trap to be filled with people. What...

 Hey Guys, Welcome to a  journey to a place that was my home for the past two years. Anybody can join in this journey ( let's breathe some really fresh air). This is a small tour through my favourite places at the University of Calicut.   Just come in with me. Oh! before that, don't you see the two buildings across the road? The one on the left is the Tagore Nikethan, which is always packed with students from various colleges (this is the place from where you meet some of your old buddies). The one on the right is the Management studies block (of course not my area, but have some really valuable friends over there). The most beautiful sight to behold here is the carpet of yellow flowers that blooms quite unexpectedly and spread the cheer among the fellow students and passersby.  Let's get in...  The first people you may see are the security guards, wave an "hai" or smile to them (mark my words, they are really friendly when you do that).
